Only this week, research from the UK Met Office predicted that the probability of one of the next five years surpassing the 1.5°C global heating limit set by international governments is now 50%, up from 20% in 2020. This highlights why it is more important than ever that businesses double down on the climate ambition pledges that many have made and focus on taking positive action to ensure that, for the good of the planet, the 1.5°C limit is not breached.
